Sail Celebrity Silhouette from Rome to the Exotic: Egypt, Jerusalem, Greece and the Amalfi Coast

In 2011, Celebrity Silhouette joins the award-winning Solstice Class, delivering the same cosmopolitan style that has made her sister ships famous, from stunning interior spaces to sweeping veranda views in 85% of staterooms. With specialty dining venues that rival the best five-star spots on land and a host of enriching onboard programs, we’ve created an unprecedented ship experience. Again.

Start your cruise in Rome, once the center of the ancient world from which emperors ruled over nearly all of western civilization for hundreds of years, Rome is still considered by many to reign over all other European destinations.

Alexandria- is Egypt's second-largest city and its largest seaport. Known as The Pearl of the Mediterranean, it's found by many to have an atmosphere and culture that is more Mediterranean, than Middle Eastern. In ancient times, Alexandria was the capital of Greco-Roman Egypt; today, it's a city synonymous with commerce and sophistication. There are no more famous ancient sites within Egypt, or for that matter elsewhere in the world, than the Great Pyramids at Giza. Just north of the border between Egypt and Sudan lies the Aswan High Dam, a huge rockfill dam which captures the world's longest river, the Nile River, in the world's third largest reservoirs, Lake Nasser.

Jerusalem, Israel - perhaps the most revered holy city in the world, Jerusalem holds a special place to Jews, Christians and Muslims around the world. Todays city is a site of both ancient wonder and contemporary delight, a place where the past and the future meet and visitors are delighted to spend their time.
