Accreditation
Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education – ACCME
MCE Conferences is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
MCE Conferences designates this live activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
ABIM MOC Recognition
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 12 (part II) MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
American Academy of Family Physicians – AAFP
This live activity will be reviewed and acceptable for up to 12 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to the AMA PRA Category 1 credit toward the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The College of Family Physicians of Canada – CFPC
Members of the College of Family Physicians of Canada are eligible to receive Mainpro+ Certified, Certified Assessment, or Non-Certified credits for participation in this activity due to reciprocal agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians.
American Osteopathic Association – AOA
CME activities approved for AAFP credit are recognized by the AOA as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit.
American Academy of Physician Assistants – AAPA
AAPA accepts Category 1 CME approval from the AAFP.
American Association of Nurse Practitioners – AANP
AAFP Prescribed Credits are accepted by the AANP.
American Nurses Credentialing Center – ANCC
According to the ANCC, the continuing education hours approved by the AAFP meet the ANCC-accredited CNE criteria.
Pharmacology Credits

- Oceanfront Guest Room – $299 Per Room Per Night (Plus Applicable Taxes and Fees) Bedding Types: one king (up to 2 adults) or two queen beds (up to 4 adults). These 425-square-foot rooms offer one king or two queen beds along with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel rooms feature 55″ TVs, a working desk, convenience ports and outlets, and a furnished balcony. Deluxe rooms also feature digital alarm clocks with Bluetooth connectivity to play music. These rooms are located in the Sunrise wing of the resort, offering convenient access to Sunrise Café and the Sunrise beach access boardwalk. King rooms also feature a sofa sleeper. The beautiful natural surroundings are ever-present, including the views of the expansive tree canopy and sunset from the open-air breezeway that leads you to your guest room. - Sandcastles Villas – Oceanfront 1 Bedroom – $349 Room Per Night (Plus Applicable Taxes and Fees) Bedding Types: one king (up to 2 adults) or two queen beds (up to 4 adults). These spacious oceanfront villas afford the flexibility to entertain in comfort and relax in abundant privacy, with overlooks of the ocean. These ocean-facing villas feature a comfortable bedroom with one king bed or two queens, a full size kitchen, expanded living room, and dining room, balcony or patio available overlooking the ocean, and TV with cable channels, high-speed internet access, in-room safe, coffeemaker, hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. Note: Room categories are based on availability at the time of request.
Additional Lodging Information –
Taxes: Room rates above are quoted exclusive of applicable state and local taxes (currently 12%).
Check-in/Check-out times: Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM
Rollaway beds are available currently for $35 per night (upon request) and are only allowed in king-size rooms.
Pet Policy: Two pets under 50 lbs at the resort are currently allowed. First-floor rooms have been reserved for guests bringing pets. A $175 non-refundable cleaning fee will be applied at checkout.
Resort Service Charge and Amenities – There will be a taxable reduced resort service charge for MCE Attendees booked within the group block of $29 per room, per night (normally $40) includes:

Hotel Parking – Discounted self-parking of $17 for overnight guests per car, per night will be offered to MCE Attendees who book within the group block (Normally $25); valet rate is $40.00. Discounted $15 daily parking will be available for local and offsite guests driving in for the dates of the conference during conference hours.
Lodging Deposit:
Omni Resort Guestrooms: Deposit of 1 Night + tax is due at the time of booking; the balance is due to the resort upon arrival.
Sandcastles Villas: Deposit of 1 Night + tax is due at the time of booking, Some Villas require a deposit of 2 Nights + tax due at the time of booking; the balance is due to the resort upon arrival.
Lodging Cancellations – Terms and conditions as per MCE’s room allotment agreement with conference lodging venue:
- Cancellation made 31 days or more prior to arrival: A full refund will be issued.
- Cancellation 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refunds will be issued.
- No-shows and early departures are considered a cancellations: No refunds will be issued.
All lodging cancellations must be made directly with the lodging venue. Please refer to your lodging confirmation for contact information and policies.
Register & Book Your Lodging Early! The MCE reduced room rates will be available to registered attendees up until July 22, 2025 (based on availability). Our allotment for reduced room rates may sell out before this date. We urge you to secure your lodging reservation as early as possible. Reduced rates will also be offered for 3 nights pre and post-program dates (based on availability).
Room Reservation Guidelines – The lodging reservation link has been created for the MCE Conference continuing medical education program, and only guests who are registered for this CME conference are eligible to use this site in order to access discounted rooms and/or theme park tickets (if applicable).
- Attendees must register within (7) seven days of booking MCE discounted lodging to avoid cancellations or increased nightly rates (depending on Hotel/Resort policy).
- We allow a maximum of 2 room reservations per registered attendee, based on availability and rates at the time of booking.
- Rooms and/or tickets (if applicable) cannot be purchased for the purpose of, or with the intention of being resold.
- All reservations must be made under the registered attendee’s name, as all reservations and ticket orders (if applicable) will be audited against the CME program registration list. Should it be necessary, we reserve the right to contact you to request proof of registration. If it is discovered that the reservation and/or ticket order is not for an MCE Conferences participant, the reservations and/or ticket order may be canceled or modified based on the Hotel/Resort policy, and deposits may not be eligible for a refund.

Airport Information – The Omni Amelia Island Plantation is located is approximately 29 miles from the Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and 4 miles from the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport (FBMA)Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes.
UBER & LYFT
Upon arrival to the JAX airport both Uber and Lyft will be available from JAX (Jacksonville International Airport) to the resort without issue, however upon departure, please plan ahead when departing Amelia Island. Uber & Lyft drivers are very limited and occasionally unavailable on the island. There are up to a max of 10 drivers that operate on Amelia Island, and you can utilize them for inner-island transportation (based on driver availability) during your stay. For transportation back to JAX we recommend making those arrangements in advance using a local transportation company.
