Overview

This conference is designed to provide primary care practitioners with up-to-date, evidence-based information on commonly encountered issues in Internal Medicine and Pain Management, while suggesting pragmatic approaches to clinical management. The discussion-based format of the conference will encourage audience participation through dynamic lectures, case-based studies, and hands-on workshops. Keynote speakers will present and critically assess recent advancements and industry updates in Internal Medicine and Pain Management with the goal of enhancing the knowledge-base and core competence of attendees. The successful completion of this interactive program diagnosing, treating, and prescribing the most effective courses of treatment, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes.

Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education – ACCME

American Academy of Family Physicians – AAFP

CME activities approved for AAFP credit are recognized by the AOA as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit.

  • River Lodge Guest Rooms – $399 Per Night (Plus Applicable Taxes and Fees) Spacious accommodations in Bend, Oregon with Northwestern décor, a private deck or balcony overlooking the Meadows Golf Course, and gorgeous views of the Cascade Mountain Range. Great proximity to the Main Lodge and Great Hall. Large bathroom with separate glass-enclosed shower and a soaking tub, granite countertops, and tile flooring. All River Lodge rooms have a stone wall gas fireplace, a Keurig Coffee maker, a small refrigerator, flat-screen TV, premium cable, Bluetooth-capable clock radios with USB ports, robes, and an in-room safe. Additional Lodging Information –

  • Taxes and Resort Fees: Room rates quoted above are, net rates, subject to tax, which are currently 9.5% and a Resort Fee, which is currently 18% per room night. The Resort Fee is also subject to a 1.5% state tax. All fees are subject to a 0.57% Oregon State Surcharge. Rates, fees and taxes are subject to change. These rates are European plan (no meals included) rates.
    • This daily resort fee includes: wireless Internet in guestrooms and meeting space, access to Sage Springs Club and Spa, complimentary access to The Cove, access to Resort swimming pools and hot tubs, access to Crosswater and Caldera Links, intra-Resort transportation, self-parking, and in-room coffee.
  • Intra Resort Shuttle: Complimentary 24-hour intra-resort shuttle service – Sunriver Resort guests receive complimentary shuttle transportation throughout Sunriver and Crosswater on an individual, on-call basis.

Parking – Complimentary on-site parking is available for overnight guests, as well as for local and offsite guests during the duration of the conference hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Lodging Deposit – A Deposit of 1 Night + Tax is due at the time of booking. The entire length of stay will be billed to the individual account at 21 days prior
to arrival. For each guest who cancels less than 21 days prior to arrival the entire length of stay will be collected as cancellation
to the individual’s credit card on file. An individual’s deposit is refundable to that individual if the Resort receives notice of an individual’s cancellation at least 21 days prior to arrival for all guestrooms, suites and river lodges and 60 days prior to arrival for homes and condos.

Lodging Cancellations – Terms and conditions as per MCE’s room agreement with the conference lodging venue:

  • Should an attendee cancel a reservation, a refund of the deposit and/or cancellation fees will be in accordance with Hotel general policy at that time (currently a refund is given if an individual’s reservation is
    canceled at least 21 days prior to arrival).
  • No-shows and early departures are considered a cancellation: No refunds will be issued.

All lodging cancellations must be made directly with the lodging venue. Please refer to your lodging confirmation for contact information and policies.

Register & Book Your Lodging Early! The MCE reduced room rates will be available to registered attendees up until April 29, 2025 (based on availability). Our reduced room rates may sell out before this date. We urge you to secure your lodging reservation as early as possible. Reduced rates will also be offered for 3 nights pre and post-program dates (based on availability).

Room Reservation Guidelines – The lodging reservation link has been created for the MCE Conference continuing medical education program, and only guests that are registered for this CME conference are eligible to use this site in order to access discounted rooms and/or theme park tickets (if applicable).

  • Attendees must register within (7) seven days of booking MCE discounted lodging to avoid cancellations or increased nightly rates (depending on Hotel/Resort policy).
